Often, the temperature and water variation exist in semi-arid areas of a clayey soil leads to vertical horizontal settlements, cracks general disorder building installed on this soil. The objective work is stabilize local gypsum clay soil, which poses problems at level self-construction built it. Chemical stabilization can improve properties. In fact, adding natural lime these clays provide an ideal solution for stabilizing them through interesting modifications their geotechnical properties throw experimental tests both unstabilized stabilized samples by quantities 2, 4, 6%, percentages soil's weight, prepared room temperature, unconfined compressive strength (UCS) different curing ages measured, results obtained significant increase modulus Elasticity allow better qualities parameters throughout any phase earthwork construction design that strengthening subgrades, reducing thickness, and, as result, low costs. study show (1) best utilization effect, optimum percentage 6%; (2) UCS 3.23 times pure after 28 days under lime; (3) age has effect strength; (4) main reason modified crystal produced pozzolanic activity fills pores 6% treatment with resistance 2.3 MPa 135.60 value elasticity days.
